Causes of Dark Circles around Eyes

Many people suffer from dark bags and circles around their eyes, a huge percent of the population in fact, but most of that selection of the population doesn’t have a happy relationship with their under eye circles and in most cases want to alleviate them from their life., That is why I started this site in fact, I too have chronic re-occurrence of my own, and have spent much time and effort looking up how to get of and how to remove my own dark circles’.
So what causes the dark circles under the eyes and how do we get rid of dark circle problems? Well the first step of course is to figure out the problem, to identify the cause of them, so we can better identify how serious a problem it is, as well as what is triggering them so we can most effectively (and cheaply) alleviate them.

Common everyday causes of dark circles around eyes :
The following are 3 of the more common causes of simple and easy to fix problems. They are more based around lifestyle, nutrition, and dietary health. Paying attention to your diet, sleep, and fitness levels will in many cases go along way from protecting you against the dark bags, and things such as home remedy treatments may help here as well.

  1. Persistent Eye Rubbing
  2. In some people, constantly rubbing their eye-area due to itchiness and dryness brought on by natural factors such as air quality, nutrition and their environments is to blame. Taking care to not rub the area so often, as well as moisturizing and alleviating that which we suspect is causing the tendency to rub will go a long way.
  3. Sleep Quality
  4. If you are not getting a fully recuperative, short, or even lengthy amount a sleep with constant interruption, you may have an easily treatable version of dark bags around and under your eyes. Such things as stress, sleep disorders, or poor mattress and pillow quality may be just what you need to restore your natural skin tone to this area.
  5. Dehydration
  6. Do you drink enough water daily? Are you sure? Because many simpler cases and a common cause of dark circles can be cured by sufficient hydration throughout your day. Aim to drink 6-10 glasses of h2o daily, and avoid things that make the total hydration more difficult, such as coffee, alcohol or excessive amounts of salt and sodium intake. More severe and less easily treatable dark-eye circles:
The following are more serious and less likely to fade away causes. In most cases simple changes and natural relief won’t work. This group will gain more from a good and proven puffy eyes or dark circle around eye production treatment regimen, and people looking to truly help their appearance will want to look into a bought solution as they age.
  1. Aging
  2. As we age, the skin around our eyes and eyelids thins out considerably, which causes the blood vessels to become much more apparent, giving the under portion of the area to radiate a darker bag-like appearance. Also as we age and if we don’t take proper anti-aging preventative measures, we gain an increased tendency of fluid retention. Gravity as we are going about our day causes fluids to collect into the lower eyelid area, which creates the dark shadow effect many of us love to hate.
  3. Genetics / Hereditary
  4. Being prone to dark circles around and under our eyes can also be passed down as a genetic trait. This one is unavoidable and a real pain in the butt. Ask yourself if your parents and family seems to be more prone then most, and then judge if you think that your situation is a more genetic and passed on trait. Identifying this will help you to judge your proneness to under-eye bags, and if you decide that it is indeed running in your family, consider a good anti-aging eye treatment for maximum results.
  5. Bone Structure Fair Skin
  6. Deep set eye structure also have an increasing tendency to develop dark shadows around the yes. As we age, we find that deep set eyes are more influenced by fluid retention and gravity, and draining / pooling of fluid into the deep set bone structure. Also, if you have fair light skin, your situation is going to be intensified by the more obvious appearance. If you have fair skin or deep set eye bone structure (or both!) your best bet is to work with makeup, concealer or proven anti-aging products to aid, as most will just waste time with home remedies and everyday natural solutions.
Identifying the cause of your dark circles:
Using the above as guidance, can you more easily classify the seriousness of your dark bags? If you’re in the first group of people, try brushing up on your nutrition, sleep patterns and fitness levels. Some good dark circles under home remedies may work for you depending on the actual cause, and would be a great way to start and save some cash on some more serious anti-aging dark circle treatments.
